Really excited that Sugared Water #003 is out at last. I'm flattered that this issue features two poems of mine: "On the Glories of Graffiti" and "November Missing." Glad to have placed these pieces, which have been floating around homeless for quite a while. "November Missing" is a persona poem that recalls some of the imagery inspired by my home away from home: Star Mountain Ranch in Hamilton County, Texas. Thanks to the editors for re-envisioning "On the Glories of Graffiti" as a prose poem. It's a fun piece, one of the few of mine that really play with humor—or at least try to. It's a favorite of Shannon's. I'm glad to have the opportunity to share it with some other readers.
